Michael is a gifted classical trainer with an innate ability to connect to horses.
This third generation P.R.E. breeder rode his first PRE stallion in parades at the age of five. His passion was firmly established for riding on the family ranch herding cattle.
Michael participated in shows and ferias throughout his youth, training with a rejoneador on his family ranch. In Spain, he schooled in doma classica (classical dressage) with a prominent trainer for 2 years.
Michael becomes attuned to the indiviudal, never hurries the process, taking the necessary time to bring each individual along. He applies a solid foundation with long lines teaching ground driving prior to bitting and riding. This principle allows the horse to remain soft in the mouth.
